Fourteen-year-old Milah
Dinh is the second female lifter for Vanuatu Weightlifting Federation.

Dinh joined the Port Vila Weightlifting Club and will team up with senior female lifter Ajah Pritchard Lolo in the women’s division.

This is a massive break for Ms Dinh in her weightlifting career having to take up the challenge at a young age and is also a great opportunity for her to expose her talent and develop.

Ajah Pritchard Lolo confirmed the news to Daily Post Sports.

“Milah is our new lifter for Port Vila Weightlifting Club.”

Milah has accompanied the Weightlifting team to New Zealand for the North Island Weightlifting competition which starts next week June 10-11.

“This is Milah’s first international competition and she will be competing in the youth division in the 64kg category,” Lolo said.

The weightlifting team left the country early this week and is currently in Papatoetoe, Auckland, New Zealand

“We came a week early to train with Papatoetoe Olympic Weightlifting Club here in Auckland, New Zealand,” Ajah Pritchard Lolo said.

The weightlifting team is also preparing for the 2023 Pacific Games in Honiara and highly likely four lifters will travel.
