Tony Jimmy pleaded guilty to charges of an act of indecency with a young person, as well as unlawful sexual intercourse with a child under 13 years of age.

He committed these acts when the victim who calls him uncle, was only 7 years old.

The incident occurred in December 2021. He escorted the victim to a shop and committed the act on their way back home.

The offending came to light early this year. The Judge noted that aggravating factors include; the gross breach of trust due to their family relationship, and the age difference- the defendant is 35 years old.

Jimmy is married with three children.

He received an end sentence of six years’ imprisonment for unlawful sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 13 years, and one year and six months for the charge of act of indecency.

9 years for partner killer

Richard Harry was sentenced to 9 years and 6 months’ imprisonment for the death of his partner.

On Christmas Day in 2021, Harry was under the influence of alcohol and used a hard wooden pole to strike his partner’s left eye. She was rushed to the hospital, but died of a cerebral hemorrhage, the following day.

The defendant pleaded guilty to a charge of intentional homicide and was sentenced last week.

Harry has already spent time in custody, therefore, his sentence will commence to run from December 27, 2021.
