A historic exhition of 195 drawings from Freshwater Bilingual School, Vila East, Central School, Vila SDA School and Wan Smol Bag Literacy and Numeracy Class are on display at the French Embassy Exhition Hall this week on how they want to see Port Vila in the next ten years.

The exhibition was launched by the Chairperson of the Port Vila Beautiful Committee, Port Vila Municipal Councillor Cathy Hivo and is open to the public until Friday.

The Department of Tourism Development and PVMC and the Beautification Committee are meeting this Friday to discuss the way forward.

Technical Adviser Madeline Peart is expected to produce a Beautification Plan for Port Vila.

Meanwhile Principal Provincial Tourism Officer Janet Tambeana confirmed, “This is the first time ever to tap into the young minds of primary school students about how they want to see Port Vila City in the next ten years; after all, the future belongs to them”. READ MORE
