In light of the recent 7.3 magnitude earthquake that struck Port Vila, the Vanuatu Football Federation (VFF) has reassessed its original proposal to host the second edition of the Women’s Champions League matches in Port Vila.

The earthquake has raised significant safety concerns, leading to a reconsideration of the competition’s format to ensure the well-being of players, officials, and supporters.

VFF Competitions Manager, Bong Shem, said human life is valuable, and it is essential that this is taken into consideration.
