This week, Julia Charley, popular radio personality and podcast host, took to the airwaves one final time before officially resigning from the Vanuatu Daily Post.

Ms Charley’s departure marks the end of a seven-year tenure across 96.3FM, 107FM, and the widely followed podcast series “Kava mo Kajap.” Colleagues gathered on Thursday afternoon to celebrate her contributions, sharing memories of her dedication, energy, and creativity.

Since joining the company, Charley has become a familiar and trusted voice for listeners, known for her engaging presentation style and her ability to connect with the community. At 107FM, she played a pivotal role in day-to-day operations, helping shape programming and ensuring smooth on-air production.

Radio Manager Kizzy Kalsakau said Charley’s professionalism and warmth will be deeply missed, noting her role not just as a presenter and producer but as a cornerstone of the station’s success over the past years. The management of Trading Post Ltd wishes her the best in her next endeavour.
