Occupation

I’ve been a flight attendant with Air Vanuatu for nearly 3 years. I am interested in photography and I have taken some professional shots for weddings and portraits. I got my camera in 2013 and although I would like to do more photography, it’s a bit hard with my working schedule.

My dream is to go back and study. I studied law and economics before but I didn’t get a chance to finish it. I am still trying to figure out what I would like to do but I think I would like to get into management.

Where you from?

I’m from Torres.

How would you describe your style?

I don’t have a particular style but I prefer wearing trousers and shorts. I am definitely a jeans girl. When I wake up in the morning, what I wear is dependent on my mood.

Where do you buy your clothes from?

I buy most of my clothes from second hand shops. It is usually from Stret Price or Stanely Imports. If I’m overseas, I always keep my eye out for sales and buy most of my clothes from affordable outlets like Target and Kmart.

Who influences your style?

I go through magazines that people have left behind on the plane and see what works for me and I follow that.

What beauty products do you use?

I usually don’t wear any makeup when I’m at home. At work we are expected to wear lipstick, so I’ll just put on some mascara and a bit of lipstick. The only products that I use are coconut oil and tamanu oil.

Any fashion advice?

My only advice to other girls is if you’re going to pluck your eyebrows, don’t remove all your eyebrows. Try to follow the natural line instead of taking it all off. You just need to keep it clean and natural instead of trying to reshape your eyebrows and making another line that doesn’t suit the shape of your face.

And if you’re going to wear lipstick, try to find what works for you. Just because you’re friend is wearing lipstick, it doesn’t mean you need to buy the exact same one too because it may be too dark or too light for your skin tone. You can tell what lipstick suits you by checking the shade on your wrist.

But mostly, try to stay natural. That’s the best look you’ve got.
