Our rich Melanesian heritage is a genetic physical makeup that is unique to anywhere else in the world. Have you ever felt uncomfortable with the way you looked and felt the need to change it?

Irene Marie Abbock, a proud Ni-Vanuatu woman inspires us on how she overcame what she believed were her flaws due to the influence of westernization and how she learnt to honor all of her natural Melanesian beauty.

Through self love, acceptance and by embracing her natural features she is more proud of the woman she has become and where she comes from as part of her identity as a Melanesian woman.
