Vanuatu women football team have dropped in the FIFA women’s ranking to 122 place.

In the end of June,2022 Vanuatu was in 121 place and the updated FIFA ranking released last week Vanuatu have slipped down by one and currently sits in 122 position.

Oceania Nations cup runners up Fiji have also dropped down three spots from 69 to 72.

Tonga also dropped down by two places from 92 to 94. New Caledonia dropped down by seven places 100 to 107. Also Tahiti, Cook Island and American Samoa.

The Solomon Islands leaped 15 spots to 105 ranking them sixth from ninth in the Oceania region, after finishing third at the Women’s Nations Cup in Fiji – the nation’s best ever finish in the competition’s history.

Samoa also moved up in the ranking from 109 position to 99.Solomon Islands and Samoa had the biggest movement made in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World rankings.
