The famous Ni- Vanuatu female singer, Miss Vanessa Quai was recently invited by World Evangelisation Evangelism Alliance Korea (WEEA-Korea) to perform in South Korea for the first time in the annual World Remnant Conference from the 28th of July to the 2nd of August 2024.

The event drew over 15,000 Christians in the 4 days’ event and live streamed to 237 countries Worldwide.

“Performing at the Immanuel Church auditorium, the Vanuatu songstress displayed a world-class performance and literally stole the hearts of over 5,000 audiences,” said Miss Quai’s dad, Nigel Quai.

Mr. Quai said it was an amazing experience indeed to see the audience in an Asian country like South Korea to respond so positively to Vanessa Quai’s performance.

He recounted that the 5,000-plus audience shouted with excitement after Miss Quai’s first song and demanded her to continue.

The Present of the Republic of Vanuatu and the 1st Lady, who were also present, commended Vanessa Quai for raising the flag of Vanuatu high in South Korea.

Mr. Quai said South Korean musical experts were amazed with Vanessa Quai’s raw talent, as they learned that she had never attended formal vocal training, like the Korean singers.

“They expressed that this is truly unique and authentic,” he stated.

According to Mr. Quai, the Vanuatu Department of Industry is following Vanessa Quai’s international music impact, and they are grateful to see such raw talents of Vanuatu artists, like her, promoting Vanuatu music Industry abroad.

72 students from the Malasitapu school and teachers and other 8 youth leaders from different churches under the Port Vila Ministers Fraternal also participated in the event in South Korea.

The World Evangelical Alliance unites churches for Gospel witness and discipleship with the mission of fostering unity in Christ, strengthening identity, voice, and platform for Gospel witness and discipleship.
