“If you include remarkable people in your life and surround yourself with those who contribute to the wellbeing and happiness of others, then automatically you’ll be inspired by their achievements.”
This is a quote that Lila Kaluatman lives by. Lila surrounds herself with people who contribute to the wellbeing of others and draws inspiration from their compassion. Driven by the belief that everyone is unique and born complete and perfect as they are, Lila says YOU ARE ENOUGH and do not need to try be someone else to be better. A lover of life and adventure, Lila is ready to live life to the full with her beloved family by her side.

Name:
Anncerila Kaluatman (Lila) for short
Age:
27 years old
Where are you from?
I am from Pango Village. I’m a half-blood Futuna Tongoa from both my grandparents’ side
What do you aspire to do in the future?
I want to be able to do everything in life passionately and to love my family and make them proud of who they have taught me to become.
When I grew up I was taught by my grandparents to be an independent woman, to be strong and to believe in yourself. They taught that no matter what hard situation I may face in life, there is a solution and that it’s important to help people.
Career wise I want to continue my studies in the future and to achieve my dream of becoming an archaeologist. Every day we learn something new from home, from work and from everyone and everything around us.
I want to visit places of my interest, famous libraries of the world, famous museums, and historical places and so on. Like everyone else I would love to travel and explore the world and explore the different cultures and their people.
I wish to enjoy myself in my next new adventure in life with my new family to explore and experience life and be happy, to be proud of who I am and where I come from, to play a big part in my community and help all sisters and women celebrate and share their stories with everyone else.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I am an island girl so I love being around the beach and doing water activities such as fishing.
What do you study?
I have studied arts back in school, with a focus on history and media and journalism.
How would you describe your style?
(laughs) I am not really sure if I have a style, I love to wear anything that is comfortable and simple.
Where do you buy your clothes from?
I buy my clothes from second hand shops in town and other clothing shops.
Who influences your style?
I would say my mum is my biggest influence. She inspired my passion of mixing old fashion with today’s fashion and keeping everything simple.
What beauty products do you use?
I don’t use any beauty products, I prefer my natural look.
Any fashion advice?
Beauty isn’t about having a beautiful face, it’s about having a beautiful mind, a beautiful open heart, a beautiful soul and being comfortable in your own skin.
