While access to reliable menstrual hygiene products is important for the well-being of women and girls, it is still a critical issue in Vanuatu. The Ambassade de France supported a survey to investigate the effectiveness of menstrual cups as a sustainable alternative to traditional menstrual products. This survey distributed 60 menstrual cups, 21 in size 1 for women with no children and 39 in size 2 for women with a child or children. 43 of the participants completed the survey.

The primary goal of this survey was to assess the practicality and effectiveness of menstrual cups in local menstrual health management practices. The findings aim to highlight the environmental and economic benefits of menstrual cups, providing valuable insights to support initiatives promoting menstrual health and sustainable development in Vanuatu.

This report presents the analysis of the survey results, providing valuable information to support initiatives promoting menstrual health and sustainable development in Vanuatu.
