Today is the last day of Vanuatu’s first Agri-tourism Festival. The three day event is the first of its kind to be held in Vanuatu with the aim of creating a linkage between agriculture and tourism.
With more than twenty stalls featuring local produce such as jams, body products, food products, coffee, coconut oil, livestock, live cooking demonstrations, bush toilets, farm equipment, plants, handicrafts and so much more, there is something for everybody!
There is also music and entertainment throughout the day, with yesterday’s event featuring a traditional custom dance from Pentecost as well as Zadok playing music on their bamboo instruments.
Head on down to the Agriculture Station at Tagabe Area, near the airport, in Port Vila to check out Vanuatu’s local products and produce.
