Vanuatu senior female sprinter, Chloe David, has departed Fiji yesterday to represent Vanuatu in the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

The competition will be held starting today, August 19 until August 27.

David has been training and competing in top local athletics competitions in Fiji.

This year’s competition is the biggest event in Hungary’s history, more than 2,000 superheroes of athletics from over 200 countries will come to Hungary for nine days in the brand-new, purpose-built National Athletics Centre.

Every session of the World Championships in the Hungarian capital will be packed with ‘Must-See’ moments.

Multiple world champions will be crowned in each of the nine evening sessions and all five monitoring programs.
