Self-defense not only allows individuals to tangibly defend themselves against physical attacks, it also sparks various benefits to them in everyday life.
This is why Vanuatu Judo federation has taken the leading role to host self-defense lessons for women(15 years and older) every Monday beginning next week at Korman.
The classes will start at 5:30pm.
The fee of 500 vatu per class and 200 vatu (low income).
A supplementary amount of 3,500 vatu representing insurance and licence, must be paid by every class member for a year.
The payment can be made all at once at the beginning or in six instalments in the first 6 months.
The Vanuatu Judo Federation is making continuous efforts to find sponsors to reduce the costs for students with low incomes.
Nothing feels better than knowing you can take care of yourself mentally, financially, and physically.
However for a lot of people, the physical part is just exercise. Being able to protect yourself in all situations is a confidence booster as much as it is a reassurance. A reassurance that can only be gained through any form of self defense classes. Today, when people think about self defense classes, they tend to think about women and children. However, self defense classes (and practices such as karate, boxing, jiu jitsu, are for everyone.
