ProMedical was called yesterday at lunch time to assist an unconscious man at the very top of a mango tree at Black Sands.

ProMedical Rescue was immediately activated to safely get him down.

Moli Bethel bravely climbed the tree while being belayed by his Rescue team mates and secured the patient while he got him into a harness, no mean feat to safely do this at the top of a tree.

A second line was then hauled up and the patient was lowered alongside Moli to the ground where he was immediately treated by ProMedical Paramedics before being transported to hospital.

This was the first time ProMedical Rescue had put their new skills into use, proving again beyond all doubt their dedication to helping the community, Troy Spann from ProMedical said.
